William Muckelroy III

B.S. Computer Engineering from Pitt, Post-Bacc @ CMU's DRIVE Lab | Stanford's IPRL Lab

I am a researcher in robotics & AI with over 3+ years of experience across my time spent at Tesla, Google Labs, Amazon Lab126, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and more. I am interested in developing robots that can truly help out in the home, office, or factory and learn from their experiences over time. I currently work towards this goal in the Interactive Perception & Robot Learning (IPRL) Lab @ Stanford University, advised by Professor Jeannette Bohg & Dr. Cherie Ho.

Recently, I graduated magna cum laude from University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. Prior to joining IPRL, I worked within CMU’s DRIVE Lab where I was advised by Professor John Dolan and worked towards developing cost-effective alternatives to LiDAR using 4D Radar and Deep Learning for Autonomous Vehicles.

Next, I will be applying for PhD programs while continuing to work within IPRL part-time and starting full-time as a Research Scientist II working on World Foundation models for robotics.

The best way to reach me is by email.
